Hey all! This will probably be our last post for a couple weeks. Us cupcake twins are off to Thailand for 2 weeks! EEEEP! As a graduation gift to ourselves we went big and booked a trip to our bucket list location. We are so freaking excited! However, we don’t know how the internet situation is going to be, so we might not be able to post again until the end of January. That is really sad. BUT, this vacation is very much needed and we will be back. With lots of pictures. We promise. Pinky promise. But first, brownies.
Before we go, we have a ooey, gooey, super chocolatey, brownie recipe to share. Everyone loves brownies. I especially love really gooey, borderline under-baked brownies. They make me happy. These brownies are like that. So I ate about 7 of them. At once.
Brownies are one of those boxed desserts that I feel are acceptable. No one gets mad about a brownie made from a mix. They are delicious, and they always come out just right. Just like Stove Top stuffing! Everyone loves it. (Side note- I could eat stuffing for every meal of the day for the rest of my life. I love it. It’s literally bread. Mixed in with more bread, and some other good stuff to make it taste like joy.) However, every once in a while it is nice to make some from scratch! Just to see what it is like. So we did, and they did not disappoint. Not saying we are going to make homemade brownies for the rest of forever whenever we have a chocolate craving…but at least now we know we are capable of making them, and so are you!
The thickness of these bad boys all depends on the size pan you are using. Here we used an 8X8 pan. If you want these to be over the top chocolate, then you could always add in some chocolate chips. A half a cup or so. However many makes your heart happy.
