Halloween is like a month away. *insert excited squeel! Halloween is probably my favorite holiday. Probably because Fall is also my favorite season and Halloween is in the Fall. Makes sense right? I don’t usually tend to get dressed up for Halloween, except last year when I did my makeup to look like a deer. I was so cute. Oh deer. I actually hate anything scary, and I also hate the sound of the doorbell ringing constantly. BUT, I just love watching the little kiddos skipping around on Halloween dressed up, asking for candy that will eventually give them all cavities and a stomach ache.
All of this Halloween excitement caused me to go hard at the craft store in the decoration section. I got everything. I couldn’t wait to make themed pictures. Therefore, these pictures have a hint of Halloween in them. This doesn’t have to be a Halloween dessert. But it could be if you wanted! Go crazy! HALLOWEEN EVERYTHINGGGGGG.
Chances are you’ve had this dessert before at some point in your life. It is usually a staple at parties because it is super easy to make, doesn’t require any baking and is really, really good.
We made this recipe and put it into cute little jars but you could use the same recipe and put it in a 9 X 13 pan.
I had every intention of coloring the Cool Whip orange to make these extra festive but, as you can see, that didn’t happen. I forgot. Oopsie.
You may be thinking “why are there only two jars in some of these pictures instead of all three?” Well, that is because I dropped one. In a big way. All over the floor. Delicious Oreo dessert all over everything. I thought I could handle carrying all three at once, because I am an adult. However, right after I had that thought, one of the jars slipped from my hands. I watched it fall in slow motion. There was nothing I could do. RIP.
Dessert jar boobs. Forever immature.
