Peanut butter s’more hot chocolate. Yeah. I said it. It is hot chocolate, but more extreme. I know we just gave you all a hot chocolate recipe. Apologies if you absolutely hate hot chocolate. There are so many toppings on this though that it is basically dessert.
Christmas is soon. Real soon. Like 2 days away soon. Can we just get it over with already? I just really want to rid my life of Christmas music. Like why does Christmas need its own music? We don’t get stores playing Halloween music. Or Thanksgiving music. I’m not forced to listen to 2 months of Columbus day music! So why must we have 348 versions of the same 5 songs playing over and over again from Thanksgiving until Christmas? Unnecessary. I only despise it so much because I have to listen to it for 8 hours a day as a retail employee. I imagine a song here and there otherwise would not make me want to break things.
ANYWAY. Let’s talk hot chocolate. This is just a basic hot chocolate recipe. This is all about the toppings! One of the most important aspects of this is the graham cracker rimmed glasses. Or mugs. Or whatever you choose to drink out of. Just smear some peanut butter around the edges and then dip in crushed graham crackers. Its truly life changing.
I want all my liquids to be rimmed with delicious things.
From there you just pour your hot chocolate and go to town with the toppings. I threw in about a million mini marshmallows per glass. Give or take. Then I just went crazy. I drizzled on more chocolate syrup, melted some peanut butter in the microwave and drizzled that on. Then, I threw in some more graham cracker crumbs and chocolate pieces. To finish it off, because I just couldn’t stop adding things in, I just tossed in some sprinkles. I personally hate sprinkles. Too crunchy. BUT, I love the way they look. So I put them on everything…Then..I scrape them off before I eat what’s underneath.
If you happen to have a kitchen torch, then you could totally torch the tops of the marshmallows to make them all brown and melty like a real s’more.
We hope this hot chocolate warms you up on these stupid cold winter nights!
